During my recent business trip to Hotel Ootaki, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional value and spaciousness of the accommodations. Imagine soaking in a private open-air bath while stretching your hand to touch the surrounding trees-truly a refreshing retreat! The communal onsen was a highlight, offering an authentic Japanese experience that left both myself and my traveling companion relaxed after long days of meetings. While the language barrier was a slight challenge, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Do take note, though-dining options nearby are limited, so plan your meals accordingly or venture out for a bite! I left with memories that have me contemplating a prompt return to this hidden gem in the Kinugawa Onsen area.
