During my recent business trip to Hotel Ootaki, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional value and spaciousness of the accommodations. Imagine soaking in a private open-air bath while stretching your hand to touch the surrounding trees—truly a refreshing retreat! The communal onsen was a highlight, offering an authentic Japanese experience that left both myself and my traveling companion relaxed after long days of meetings. While the language barrier was a slight challenge, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Do take note, though—dining options nearby are limited, so plan your meals accordingly or venture out for a bite! I left with memories that have me contemplating a prompt return to this hidden gem in the Kinugawa Onsen area.
